Italdesign Zerouno is an exclusive sports car produced by Italian automotive styling house Italdesign Giugiaro and introduced in 2017. The name translates to Zero One, marking the inaugural production vehicle from Italdesign's low-volume sports car division, Italdesign Automobili Speciali.

The Zerouno coupé made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show with an extremely limited production run of 5 units, all of which were completely sold out. This initial hardtop variant launched with a base price of US$1.69 million.

Following the success of the coupé, the Zerouno Duerta roadster was introduced at the subsequent Geneva Motor Show. Mirroring its sibling's exclusivity, this open-top variant was also restricted to just 5 cars, which similarly found buyers immediately.

Beneath the striking carbon fiber exterior, the vehicle relies on a modular carbon fiber and aluminum chassis. This lightweight construction contributes heavily to its high-speed stability and overall agility on the road.

Specifications and Performance of the Zerouno

The Zerouno draws its immense power from a mid-mounted 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine shared with performance icons like the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracán. This powerplant generates 602 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Power travels to all four wheels through an advanced seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the car to put down its performance effectively in diverse driving conditions. The engineering focus emphasizes precision handling alongside raw straight-line speed.

In terms of performance metrics, the supercar achieves a top speed of 205 mph and accelerates from zero to 60 mph in a blistering 3.2 seconds. These figures place it firmly among the elite tier of modern exotic vehicles.

Designed by Filippo Perini of Italdesign, the car measures 4,847 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,240 mm in height, featuring a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Its aerodynamic bodywork highlights the pinnacle of Italian automotive design and engineering excellence.
